- Complete Orientation: Once approved for the GEDWorks program, your advisor will reach out to you within a business day to complete your orientation. We prefer to complete this orientation over the phone, but if needed it can be completed via text or email.
- Weekly Progress: We expect you to make weekly progress for your account to remain active. We require a minimum of three hours studying per week. If you have any questions about your next assignment, please refer to your GED dashboard or reach out to your advisor.
- We know that life can get busy and that things may pop up that interfere with your studying. We ask that you stay in contact with your advisor so they are better able to assist you.
- Biweekly Communication: Your advisor will reach out to you biweekly for a quick check-in. Check-ins can be completed over the phone, via text, or email. We ask that you please respond to your advisor.
- Work on one subject at a time: You will start each subject with the GED Ready practice test. Moving one subject at a time in the following order: Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Math.
- If you pass the GED Ready practice test (a score of 145 or higher), we want you to take the GED test within the following two weeks. Your advisor will issue you a test voucher to schedule the GED test.
- If you do not pass the GED Ready practice test (a score of 144 or below), your advisor will issue you study materials so that you can practice the topics that you missed on the GED Ready exam.
