What is National GED® Day?
National GED Day is an annual celebration of the achievements and opportunities unlocked through the GED credential. Since 1942, more than 21 million graduates have used the GED to continue their education, advance their careers, and pursue their goals.
On September 16, we recognize the hard work of GED graduates and the educators who support them. National GED Day also highlights the important role adult education plays in preparing learners for college, workforce training, and careers in high-demand industries such as healthcare and manufacturing.
