Mississippi Promotion Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Mississippi Promotion”
The State of Mississippi (“Mississippi”) is offering a GED® test subsidy to eligible Test-takers until: (1) the funding runs out; or (2) 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2027, whichever occurs first (“Promotion Period”). The Mississippi Promotion is available to support Mississippi’s GED® Test-takers in their efforts to achieve passing scores on all four (4) GED® content area tests to earn their GED high school equivalency credential. The four GED content area tests are:
Reasoning through Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Mathematical Reasoning.
The Mississippi Promotion is administered by GED Testing Service LLC (“GEDTS”).
The Mississippi Promotion will cover the cost of all GED® tests and retakes taken at a test center in Mississippi. Online testing is not included in the Mississippi Promotion. The Mississippi Promotion is only available for eligible Test-takers who take the GED® test at an official public in-person authorized testing center. See Mississippi policy page for more details.
You must have a valid Mississippi address to use the Promotion Code and be prepared to show proof of residency at your testing appointment.
To get the discount, you must use the Promotion Code when checking out. We cannot issue reimbursements to people who do not use the correct Promotion Code at the time of registration and payment. GEDTS will provide a promotion code for scheduling a test within your ged.com account.
This discount will be provided as long as funds are available.
If a Test-taker fails to appear for a scheduled testing appointment, that “no-show” event will count as an attempt of the GED Official content area tests. Eligible Test-takers desiring to use the Promotion Code(s) must do so by scheduling their test appointments before the Promotion Period ends.
Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for the Mississippi Promotion, the Test-taker must meet Mississippi’s state policy requirements for taking GED tests.
GEDTS retains the right to request additional information when processing or validating the use of the Promotion Code(s) and is not responsible for late code entries. Test seating and the subsidy funding is limited and GEDTS is not responsible if there are no seats available or the subsidy funds run out prior to the end of the Promotion Period. If a Test-taker fails to meet any of the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, they will not be allowed to use the Promotion Code. The Mississippi Promotion is only authorized in connection with the Mississippi GED® test computer-based testing program through the Mississippi Community College Board.
The Mississippi Promotion is valid only during the Promotion Period and only in connection with GED® tests that are administered via computer at a Mississippi testing center. The Promotion Code is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to any other purpose or purchase or combined with any other discount.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Additional terms and conditions may apply. GEDTS and/or Mississippi reserve the right, without notice, to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Mississippi Promotion, in whole or in part, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of this promotion. GEDTS may impose disciplinary measures for Test-taker violating these Terms and Conditions or any other misconduct, such disciplinary measures may include, but are not limited to, revoking scores, revoking credential, and suspending from further GED® testing. The Mississippi Promotion is void outside of Mississippi and where prohibited by law.
