Su Yadanar, a student from Myanmar, decided to take the GED due to disruptions in accessing her traditional school.
“The GED provided me with an alternative path to continue my studies and achieve my academic goals despite the challenges. When I found out that I had passed all four GED test subjects, I was overwhelmed with happiness and relief. All the hard work, late nights, and dedication had paid off, and I finally felt that I was capable of achieving my goals. It was such a proud and empowering moment for me, and it motivated me to keep striving for success.”
Now that Su has earned her credential, she plans to pursue studies in hospitality and tourism management and build a career in the aviation industry.
