Diamondnique had been putting off getting her GED for years, but when her manager at Taco Bell told her about the GEDWorks™ program, she was all ears. Her manager encouraged her to sign up and motivated her along the way.
Diamondnique was surprised and grateful that GEDWorks was 100% covered by her employer. Financial help like that was a huge weight off her shoulders so she could really focus on studying. She also appreciated that GEDWorks stuck with her from beginning to end. She had tailored study plans and an advisor; her advisor was in touch every day to be sure she’d succeed. She could even retake the test if she failed. Everything was free for her as a participant. GEDWorks and Taco Bell didn’t give up on her, so she didn’t give up either.
The program itself was easy to use and totally online. She was able to fit GED prep into her schedule by studying just 30 minutes a day. Even the test itself was online. It was great not to worry about commuting to a testing center. A few months later, Diamondnique became a GED grad!
Diamondnique’s advice to other GED students is to stick with it. “Don’t procrastinate, just go for it. You’ll have people to help you and it’s really worth it to get your GED.”
