Julien, an international student from the Philippines, decided to pursue her GED because she wanted a diploma that was internationally recognized.
“Earning my credential is important to me because it will help me in applying for university. The GED gave me that opportunity.
Julien studied hard for two months before the test to make sure she’d ace the exam when the time came. She used the GED Ready practice test and studied at home on her own.
“The GED was an easy way for students like me to finish school early. I studied hard and made sure that I passed that test the first time I took it.”
Now that Julien has earned her credential she is furthering her education by studying at the University of Chester in the United Kingdom.
“The GED helped me achieve the dream I wanted.”
