Scheduling the GED^® Test

You must take the GED^® test in person at an official GED^® Test Center. To register for the GED^® test on computer, log in to your GED^® account. To register for the GED^® test on paper, contact your local test center.

If you are taking the GED^® test on computer, you can register in your GED^® account. If you are taking the GED^® test on paper, you will need to contact your local test center to schedule.

You do not need to take all five content areas at once if you test on computer. You will need to connect with your local test center if you are testing on paper.

Pearson VUE accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Japan Credit Bureau (JCB) credit cards. Visa and MasterCard debit cards featuring the standard Visa or MasterCard hologram are also accepted. Pearson VUE does not accept debit cards that require a PIN.
